Our Indigenous agriculture has its basis in the organic interconnection between all things in Nature. There is an integral relationship between soil, water, and plants; between soil, microbes and waste materials, insects and other animals, water sources, forests, and ecosystems. which indicates the bedrock of the indigenous farming system. The purity of thoughts, emotions, and actions of every individual contributes to creating the delicate balance of Existence.
However, a superficial, generic understanding of these is not sufficient for successful farming. It’s very important to understand local specificities, local needs, local climate, soil types, etc.,It is not possible to create a sustainable farming system without an understanding these specificities.
